Artist Statement:
My art work is comprised of several different mediums and styles to portray similar themes such as struggle, distortion, and self-reflection. My work is ever evolving and has a depth for the viewer's own exploration within each piece. The materials I use are mainly oil paints, for the replication of reality in a flat plain, such as canvas or board. The depiction of reality in an unrealistic way is enthralling to me, and I am able to find more content to paint about and portray in my art. Human figures are also a reoccurring presence in my artwork, the curiosities of each one and the individual uniqueness make them intriguing subjects.
